DescriptionThis print was inspired by the tempera on panel painting 'The Assumption of St Mary Magdalene' by Silvestro dei Gherarducci, which dates to the 1380s (NGI.841). It forms part of the series commissioned for the exhibition 'Art into Art' held at the Nationl Gallery of Ireland, 20 May -19 August 1998. The prints were created by members of Graphic Studio Dublin and invited artists and were inspired by artworks in the Gallery permanent collection.Inscriptionlower left of sheet (under the image in graphite): 1/25
