Locky Morris is based in Derry, his native city. Best known for his work during the Troubles, he has shown his work successfully in Ireland and abroad (eg Pittsburgh, New York, Belgrade, Prague and Salzburg). He has exhibited recently in the F.E. McWilliam Museum & Gallery, IMMA, and the Naughton Gallery in Belfast, and previously realised solo projects at Mother’s Tankstation in Dublin and Mannheimer Kunstverein in Germany.

Morris became known for early work that addressed the conflict in Northern Ireland, and was shown in Northern Ireland, London, Liverpool and elsewhere. He works in a variety of media and genres.
