Maev Lenaghan

Born in Galway, Maev Lenaghan graduated from the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in 2002. She exhibits regularly in Graphic Studio Dublin group shows. These include The Garden of Earthly Delights, 2005 at the Chester Beatty Library and The Cracked Looking Glass, 2004, which celebrated James Joyce's famous book Ulysses.

She has exhibited at international exhibitions including the 5th British International Miniature Print Exhibition 2003; La biennale internationale d'estampe contemporaine de Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada 2005; V International Biennial of Drawing, Pilsen, West Bohemia, Czech Republic 2006; and the 4th International Engraving Biennial, Duoro, Portugal 2007. Awards received include the Arts Council's Travel and Mobility Grant in 2005 and 2006; Culture Ireland Grant, Department of Sports, Arts & Tourism, 2005; and the 2002 Graphic Studio Dublin Award. Her work is in the collections of the Office of Public Works, the National University of Ireland, Galway and the Engraving Museum of Duoro, Portugal.
