Hugh O'Conor

Photographer, writer and film director Hugh O’Conor was born in Dublin in 1975. He studied drama at Trinity College, Dublin, and film at New York University. His film Worry World won best animation short at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2023. His photographs have been exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy, and the Royal Ulster Academy. He is represented by SO Fine Art in Dublin. His work spans portraiture, landscape and candid photography. His black and white portrait photograph ‘Beckah’ was shortlisted for the Hennessy Portrait Prize in 2014.
