DescriptionThis print was inspired by a painting 'Veronica's Veil Held by Angels' c.1494 by a member of the Syrian School: NGI. 978. It forms part of the series commissioned for the exhibition 'Art into Art' held in the National Gallery of Ireland, 20 May- 19 August 1998. The prints were created by members of Graphic Studio Dublin and invited artists and were inspired by artworks in the Gallery's permanent collection.
