DescriptionThis print was inspired by the tempera on panel painting 'The Crucifixion' by Giovanni di Paolo, which dates to c.1410 (NGI.1768). It forms part of the series commissioned for the exhibition 'Art into Art' held in the National Gallery of Ireland, 20 May - 19 August 1998. The prints were created by members of Graphic Studio Dublin and invited artists and were inspired by artworks in the Gallery's permanent collection.
