DescriptionIn this lithograph a goldfish and the reflection of the moon and a flowering branch can be seen in dark water. It is part of a group of prints of brightly coloured fish and other submerged or reflected objects seem to glow in a dark pool. McCreary enjoys scuba-diving - perhaps his inky blue backgrouns originate in this sub-aqua realm where ordinary objects appear strange and extraordinary. Like many of his prints it has echoes of the surrealist artist Salvador Dali.InscriptionLower left: 8/18
