Description'Darkness and Light' 2017, which consists of a positive and negative image of a tree is a development of the artist's exploration with luminescent materials. Cross sees the trees as companions to each other, night and day. They mirror one another encompassing positive and negative, dark and light. If they were transposed on top of one another they would cancel each other out.
