DescriptionSimple yet strong pencil sketch of a farmer striding along, holding his staff and looking behind him (perhaps to check on his dog). Kyffin Williams was fascinated in recording the hill-farmers of Wales. He made many quick pencil sketches of these men as they went about their daily work herding animals on the hills.
