Label TextThe virtuoso musician and music producer Dónal Lunny has been involved with some of the most innovative bands to emerge in Ireland over the last forty years, including Planxty, the Bothy Band, and Moving Hearts. He has produced albums for the Mulligan Records label, of which he was co-founder, and has collaborated with Kate Bush, Mark Knopfler, Indigo Girls, Clannad and Baaba Maal among others. In 2014, Nick Miller was awarded the inaugural Hennessy Portrait Prize at the NGI for Last Sitting: Portrait of Barrie Cooke, a painting of his fellow-artist and friend.
