DescriptionOn December 7, 2010 the European Union’s 27 finance ministers unanimously agreed to the financial bailout of Ireland. This series of silhouette portraits was created using video clips and stills taken from the internet and manipulated using digital photography. He was inspired by a centuries old art form named after an eighteenth century finance minister, Étienne de Silhouette, who oversaw a period of severe austerity in France.
