DescriptionThis print forms part of a series made by Berthe Morisot made between 1888 and 1890. The Parisian art dealer and publisher Ambroise Vollard acquired approximately 12 of Morisot's drypoint copperplates around 1900, five years after the artist's death. He is thought to have had a number of posthumous editions printed from these plates.
