DescriptionMargaret Caroline Rudd (née Youngson) (c. 1745-1798) was from Lurgan near Belfast. She moved to London and became involved with the notorious forgers Daniel and Robert Perreau. She was accused and later acquitted of forgery, a case that caused a sensation at the time.
