DescriptionWalter Hussey Burgh (1742-1783), was called to the Irish Bar in 1769 and elected MP for Athy the same year. In 1777 he was appointed Prime Serjeant, and with Henry Grattan was chiefly responsible for securing the removal of restrictions on Irish trade.
