DescriptionThis painting features the angular forms, jarring rhythms, loose scoring and cold palette that characterise some of O'Malley's most arresting landscapes. They contrast with the later works by which O'Malley is perhaps better known, which, heavily influenced by winters spent in the Bahamas, boast more amorphous forms, and a much lighter and varied colour range.
