This video piece was among the twelve works shortlisted for the inaugural Hennessy Portrait Prize at the National Gallery of Ireland in 2014, and was commended highly by the panel of judges for its originality, sophistication, and ambition. It is one of many arresting video pieces produced by the artist in recent years, in which they test and subvert the principles of portraiture, and self-portraiture in particular.
