DescriptionTo the east of station five at Glencolmcille, just outside the enclosure, a flat boulder with a circled cross inscribed on top is called Leac na hAchainí, the “Flagstone of the Request.” This stone is said to grant the pilgrim’s wish if she walks around it three times, in prayer, and then jumps off of it. It is also known as Leac na mBonn, the “Flagstone of the Soles of the Feet.”, as stated by Margaret Stokes's pencil inscription.
