DescriptionThis is a skilfully drawn drypoint portrait of a young girl. Through delicate use of line Rogers captures her youth and beauty. It was exhibited at the RHA's annual exhibition in 1929. The artist who exhibited regularly at the Royal Hibernian Academy exhibitions from 1908 to 1936. He made his living as a portrait photographer and in the early years of the twentieth century he advertised himself as "photographer, miniatures on ivory a speciality".
