DescriptionIn 1905, Margaret Clarke received a scholarship to attend the Dublin Metropolitan School of Art. This drawing gives a sense of the atmosphere of the School, of how it may have felt to be a student at that time. Studying plaster casts was an integral step in an artist’s education. Clarke faithfully records the statue in front of her.
