DescriptionPortrait of Sir Robert Shaw, (1774-1849), merchant and politician. Between 1799 and 1800, Shaw served in the Irish House of Commons for Bannow. Shaw was MP for Dublin City in the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1804 until 1826. He also served as Accountant-General of the Post Office. This print was published in Dublin by William Allen.
