DescriptionA friend of the artist, Lastrucci served as director of a society for the encouragement of young people, the Gioventu nella Compagnia di S. Benedetto Bianco in Florence. According to his biographer, Lastrucci was a man of considerable self-discipline and virtue who dedicated his life to the service of others, especially the spiritual welfare of the young.
