The things/in the air are not oysters/I inclose you two of the sort/of notices there are of "The Fair/Women" but an interesting thing/happened this morning. I had a letter/from [Marchant] asking how much it/was as he had a client who wanted it/and a letter from Wilson (the man who/bought the nude) asking if it was for sale - this is rare with/a portrait as a rule - I had a terrible night last night
