DescriptionThis print was inspired by a portrait of James Joyce, 1934, by Jacques Emile Blanche: NGI.1051, and a portrait of Katherina Knoblauch, 1532 by Conrad Faber: NGI.21. It forms part of the series commissioned for the exhibition 'Art into Art' held in the National Gallery of Ireland, 20 May - 19 august 1998. The prints were created by members of Graphic Studio Dublin and invited artists and were inspired by artworks in the Gallery's permanent collection.
