DescriptionThis panoramic view of the capital city's grand central thoroughfare was drawn by Thomas Sautelle Roberts sometime after 1818 when Francis Johnston's neo-classical post office opened for business. Engraved by the Robert Havell and Son around 1821, it was published in Dublin by James Del Vecchio who added the dedication to the Post Masters General of Ireland.
