DescriptionIt is likely that Jacqueline Rocque, Picasso's second wife, modelled for this lithograph, one of a series he made at the Atelier Mourlot in Paris in 1964. Picasso's mastery of the medium enabled him to achieve bold and stricking effects. Although he revisited the theme of artist and model repeteadly throughout his acreer, he concentrated on it particularly between the years 1963 and 1965, creating hundreds of individual lithographs. This is a signed lithograph, number 28 of an edition of 50.
