From the time when, fifty years ago, you consecrated your life to the special / service of God, the vicissitudes of St Mary's have been your own, its successes, its joys and its sorrows yours. / Two generations have gone forth from under your care, to carry to most parts of / the world, their happy, holy recollections of St Mary's and to spead, by the example of their lives, the beautiful / values carried away with them from St Mary's. We are sure that many of these, far away from their home and / country, join with us today in the offering to you, dearest Mother, of our hearts love on this happy occasion. / That God may bless and protect you and long spare you to us in the enjoyment / of good health and spirits is the fervent prayer of / your loving Sisters.'
